BREAKFAST: Beesley’s posh beans
In week two of my Vegan Diaries I mentioned that I was down in LDN having great food and lots of gin for my friend's 30th birthday. My friend Harriet makes the best food, hands down, she's always fed me so well, so so well, naturally I was over the mood when she introduced me … Continue reading BREAKFAST: Beesley’s posh beans
SWEET TREATS: Flapjacks that won’t rot your teeth
Back in May I blogged about my Rhubarb Flapjacks, at the time I was on a mission to find a healthy flapjack recipe, I FAILED. Ok so my Rhubarb Flapjack recipe is not a total disaster, it's so damn tasty that I could cry. But it is still full of sugar and syrup, leave that out and the … Continue reading SWEET TREATS: Flapjacks that won’t rot your teeth
SWEET TREATS: Peanut butter squares
Peanut butter makes me so happy, so much so that I'm frequently spotted at my desk scoffing a spoonful as an afternoon snack (that's not a snack Amy, PUT THE SPOON DOWN). I used to make these amazing peanut butter cups but they were FULL of chocolate, they tasted heavenly but you could feel your … Continue reading SWEET TREATS: Peanut butter squares
DRESSINGS: Lemon and tahini love in
At the weekend I blogged the second instalment of The Vegan Diaries, I mentioned that I had a new cook book; Salad Samurai. I honestly want … Continue reading DRESSINGS: Lemon and tahini love in

THE VEGAN DIARIES: Going cold turkey
If you're a regular reader (then thank you) you might well have read my review of Vegfest, if you did you'll already know that I've been toying with the idea of attempting a plant based diet and Vegfest helped to confirm that it's something I'm really going to take seriously this year. In my usual style once I … Continue reading THE VEGAN DIARIES: Going cold turkey
BREAKFAST: Scrambled Tofu
After my day at Vegfest last week (read about my day here) I'm going to eat a bit smarter and phase out meat and animal products from my diet over the next month. Now the first thing that panicked me about making this decision was my weekend breakfasts, if you have been following Little Nibble … Continue reading BREAKFAST: Scrambled Tofu
EVENTS: Vegfest Glasgow
On Saturday me and a few friends hopped along to Vegfest in Glasgow, now none of us are vegan but span from people trying to eat less animal products, vegetarian to genuinely trying to figure out what there is to eat if you have allergies but want to be vegan, it was a great day … Continue reading EVENTS: Vegfest Glasgow
SWEET TREATS: Pumpkin cookies, the gluten free, dairy free, vegan way
I was having a look through my blog for some vegan inspiration, this week I'm going to attempt to eat vegan, it's something that I've been thinking about for a while but I love cheese, all of the cheese, so so much. In the run up to Vegfest Scotland this weekend I thought it would be the … Continue reading SWEET TREATS: Pumpkin cookies, the gluten free, dairy free, vegan way
