I have a confession, I love noods, I live for noods, noods are LIFE. Who doesn’t love noodles right? What could be better than noodles and tofu? There’s nothing better than tofu and noodles! The tofu burgers from Iceland are a new addition to the No Bull range (have you seen the freezer yet? There’s just so much now!) and they go perfectly with some noodles, so here’s my current favourite way to eat tofu burgers and noodles.
What you need
1 clove of garlic
1 cup of mushrooms
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2 cups hot water
1 packet of instant noodles
1 cup of kale
1 Iceland tofu burger
Get your oven on to 180 degrees, pop the tofu burger on a tray and in the oven. This only takes 15 – 20 minutes to cook so there’s no time for sitting down with a cuppa. Grab a large frying pan, dice your garlic and mushrooms, then drop them straight into the pan with a splash of water. Let this simmer and cook, then add in the soy sauce, water bring to the boil, then put the noodles in. The noodles don’t take long to cook, we all know that, we’ve all made them drunk… This time though, you’re probably sober and you’re going to add a cup of kale into the noodles. By the time your noods have soaked up all of that delicious garlicky flavour, your burger will probably be done.
Get your noodles in a bowl, slice your burger up and scoff those noodles baby.
It’s quite hard to get a photograph in my favourite natural light corner without the cat having a nosey around and flicking her tail in my food. But it’s hard to be mad when she’s so cute isn’t it?
